Had a few of these laying around from an Open House I held once so thought I would use them to "catch up" on Birthday cards. I really love to make waterfall cards though.

A bit more organized

I think I have this better now. I just love how it looks so organized and I only got a $40 cabinet!! I just love to have all the "little things" in one area that is all easy to get at!

OK.. this is where I put it. I love that I have storage under it too. Being solid wood it won't "warp" like so many of my other things did. I am so gonna love this for organization. Now if I could find a 4 drawer file cabinet I would be set as I could get rid of a bookshelf and the old wooden file cabinet that I HATE!!!

LOVE THIS!!

Look at what I found today!!! I just love it. Don't know if I will refinish it this summer or leave it like it is.
It is big too.. Measures 27 1/2 inches long, 14 inches tall and 13 inches wide.
I paid $40 for it too, so thought it was a great deal for a solid wood piece!!!!

Sticky Cuts Letters

OK.. I had these for a while now so thought I should use them. This one uses the h from them. I used the Define Your Life set and Priceless. I used the new Fine Cosmo Green Glitter, along with the White Taffeta ribbon.

OK.. I used the Sticky Cut letters for this one too, only used the middle of the h. I just rounded it out a bit. Hey gotta use all I can right??

So I used 3 of the Fine Cosmo Glitters along with the Smarty Pants set for the words and the butterflies came from Priceless. I do like how it turned out though!!

Bethie from Freckled Fun Designs, made me my watermark!! Thanks Bethie I love it. You can't tell to well but there is a cow on there too!! Click on her link to the left and see what she has!

I seem to never have Sympathy cards when I need them so thought I would make some up this morning. I was on Beate Johns blog this morning and fell in love with her card on there so CASED her!! Thanks Beate!!!

I used Groovy Guava for the base with River Rock for the flap. Also used the Ginger Blossom Designer papers as they are a perfect match for the Embrace Life set. For the words I used Brighter Tomorrow ( a retired set but I just love it) I also used the new Chocolate twill ribbon coming up in the new mini catalog. The one thing I changed from Beate's is that I offset the flower and used my "Crop-a-dile Big Bite" to set the eyelet on the card so that the flap had something to "grab" to keep it shut!!! I love that monster of a Crop-a-dile as it gets into spaces you couldn't with the regular one!!

A bit nervous!

We got our final bill to go to Alaska in August on an 8 day "adventure". We decided since it is our 20th anniversary this year that we would do something special. It just sounded like an incredible tour and it is one of the places we so wanted to see anyway. So his parents said to go as they will do the chores and keep an eye on things and oh ya watch the kids!!!! So got the hired man scheduled and we are headed out August 10 -17. This is the last day of the County Fair though for us so I got to figure out how to get the kids projects home from the fair but hey I got time!!!
I am also going to miss our annual Shistah retreat that we have been doing for the last 2 years!! It is such a fun retreat even if I don't get to stay I still get to see my very special Shistah's from all over the state!!!! I love them all like they are my Shistah's and will bet thinking about all the fun they will be having too. Hey there is always next year right??

If you want to read more on our "adventure" we will be taking it can be found here
